Richard D. James is the electronic musician, programmer, and playfully disturbing character… Aphex Twin. He happens to have the same birth name as his older brother that passed before he was born. Having a grave with his own name on it inspired him to name his act “Aphex Twin”. For me, he pushed music where it hasn’t gone past back in the late 1990s. All music that is “cutting edge” now sounds like less complex versions of his prior century work.
